For a lot of people, fall signals the end of growing. It’s time to button up the house or land and stay inside. But for homesteaders, especially in the south, we have a WHOLE new season to play in.

Fall for us is the season to get house projects done. Most of the time our fall and winters are cool and wet so we get stuck inside a lot. Especially, when the animals get into the gardens…..
