Canning sheets that do more than track your inventory so you don’t run out of favorites!

Keep better track of your canned goods so you always have your favorites on hand, use your harvests and are ready for winter!

Use Your Harvests

So many times we plan our shopping or gardens based off what’s in our pantry or canned goods inventory. But what happens if you don’t keep track of it? You waste money buying or planting more carrots for canning only to realize you’ve got 200 jars of carrots already canned! This goes for beans, soups, and more!

Keep Those Favorites On Hand

We all know that everyone has a favorite meal and they could practically eat it out of the jar. But if you don’t keep better track of what you have, they won’t have those favorites! Not to mention, knowing what you have means you know how to plan for next year!

Creating Food Security

We all learned something during the pandemic…. We can’t rely on the grocery store to keep us fed. We are also learning that the price of inflation is crippling for a lot of families. But when you use the canning inventory sheets, you can stretch your dollar a little further because you know exactly what you have on hand.

About Me:

My name is Leigh, and I’m a canning addict… **everyone say “Hello, Leigh”**

I have been canning for almost a decade and I could never find a system that allowed me to keep up with what we used. To be honest, I never put a ton of thought into it. I just canned a batch of whatever, stuck it on a shelf and went about my business.

But when we moved to the property and I started focusing more time on the gardens, I struggled to grow enough food for our family. It wasn’t because the garden wasn’t producing. It was because I didn’t know how much we actually ate.

So I created our canning inventory sheets. Now, whenever I can foods, I input everything into the inventory sheets! When we pull jars out, I simply subtract what we use. Easy Peasy!

If you are struggling with keeping track of what you have canned and what you are using, these sheets will absolutely help!

Of course, you’ve got to actually put the information in it, but they will absolutely change your canning for the better!

This is an excel spreadsheet that you can upload into Google Docs. As you can and put food in your pantry, simply add a line to your sheet. Then whenever you use something, make sure to take it off the sheet.

This inventory has been a game changer here on our farm!

In all the years that I’ve been growing a garden, the fall garden has steadily remained my favorite. Which is funny because I don’t really like any of the brassicas, which is what most people know the fall garden for. I prefer the root vegetables and cool air. But I have learned over the years…
